Privacy Policy.
Plain language. No legalese traps. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us delete it.
1. Who We Are
Lucid Sites Studio is a web design and development practice operated by Adrian Simpson. We build custom websites for small businesses and provide ongoing maintenance and support. Our website is located at lucidsitesstudio.com (the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through or collected by the Site. We keep it short because we have nothing to hide — we’re a one-person studio, not a data broker.

We also retain email correspondence you initiate with us directly.
Information Collected Automatically
Analytics tools may collect pages visited, time on page, referring URL, browser and device type, approximate country or region, and an anonymized IP address. This aggregated data helps us improve the Site and is not used to identify individuals.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information for third-party marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Our Site may use services that operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — aggregated Site traffic and usage measurement. Google Privacy Policy →
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery where applicable. Google Fonts Privacy →
- WordPress — content management for client website backends. Client data is governed by separate project agreements.
Client websites may use additional processors such as payment, booking, or email services; those are disclosed in their project agreements.
6. Data Retention
Contact submissions and related correspondence may be retained for up to three years after the last communication. Client project records may be retained for up to seven years for accounting and tax obligations.
You may request deletion by emailing hello@lucidsitesstudio.com. We will respond within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults operating or planning businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so we can delete it promptly.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, access-controlled project storage, and minimal data collection. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do, and active clients will receive reasonable notice of material changes.
